This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form  of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based.  Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat,  block, strap and blanket to class.

Make three cards with gnomes used to communicate your message in three unique ways: a crossover fun fold, a dancing gnome (this technique will work for other stamps and dies), and a pop-up gnome. You  will receive feedback and see what others are working on.  Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to  your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper  understanding of this medium. This 4-hour course is designed to give Boaters a working knowledge and understanding of lines and line handling techniques. It will include a discussion of the various types of lines, and related safety concerns, as well as how to tie the essential knots used every day on the water. A hands-on approach will be used to demonstrate and practice each knot. This course will also cover Docking and Anchoring equipment and procedures with an emphasis on how it all works. You can improve your defensive driving abilities. Learn collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that challenge Maine drivers. If you complete the course, you will receive a 3-point credit on your license. Sorry, online registration is not available for this class.
