A trip to Sturbridge Village is a step back in time to 1790's through 1830.   This is the largest living museum in New England.    The village was established in 1946.   The village is made up of 200 acres and there is 40 original buildings to tour.   We will be having lunch in the tavern before returning to Wells.  The trip departs at 8:00a.m. and returns by 4:30p.m.  Cost of the trip is $72.00. We are limited to 7 guests for this trip.

Back by popular demand, the Newport trip will be from May 22 to 23. We leave Wells at 7:30 a.m.   We arrive in Bristol Rhode Island for the Blithewold Manor where we will have a tour of the home and gardens, we will be having lunch there as well.   We then head into the town of Bristol for a tour of the home of Ethel Barrymore of stage and screen.   We then head into Middletown Rhode Island where we will be spending the night.  After checking in, we will gather for dinner. The next day we are on our way to tour 3 of the Newport mansions, before we return to Wells.  The price of the trip is $395.00 per person per double occupancy which includes entrance into 5 historic homes, two lunches, dinner, hotel and breakfast.  We will return to Wells by 6:00p.m.    This trip is limited to 7 people.  A reservation by April 1st is necessary to book your place on the trip.

Seats are in the Gifford’s Home Maine Ice Cream pavilion located in right-field. Modeled after the iconic “Monster Seats” at Fenway Park, the Pavilion offers some of the most unique seats in Minor League Baseball.  The Portland Sea Dogs are the double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The Sea Dogs will be playing the Akron Rubber Ducks (Cleveland Guardians affiliate) with a start time of 7:00pm. Book your nine inning vacation as soon as possible, we have only the capacity of 8 fans for this trip.
