Great Decisions 2017

Join with other community members for lively and informative discussions on the major global issues of our time. Discussions center on the topics outlined in the Great Decisions briefing book provided by the Foreign Policy Association. The briefing book features impartial, thought-provoking analyses on 8 issues of concern to U.S. policymakers today. For information on the topics, or to order your own briefing book, visit www.fpa.org. A copy will be also be available as a reference in the library. This group meets on the 1st Friday of the month at the Wells Public Library. New members are always welcome.

Meeting dates: March 3, April 7, May 5 and June 2

INSTRUCTOR: John Randazzo is a Wells resident who is very involved in community activities. He began attending Great Decisions in 2012 and started facilitating in the spring of 2015. He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a B.S. in Education and a minor in History.

Robert Foley, newly re-elected State Representative of House District 7 in Wells, would like to spend some time with you in an informal setting. He will talk about how and why he got into politics, what happens on a typical day in Augusta and share some of his in-depth knowledge of state and local issues. He will be available to answer some of your questions and concerns about those issues and even suggest opportunities for how you can get involved in the political arena. Registration is required.
