Learn and practice a variety of techniques and approaches  specific to watercolor painting. Whether a beginner or experienced, enjoy a relaxing and supportive environment to  paint from references, still life objects and observation. You  will receive feedback and see what others are working on.  Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to  your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper  understanding of this medium. This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form  of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based.  Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat,  block, strap and blanket to class.

Come learn how to decorate sugar cookies with me! Because of the demand and popularity of the decorated sugar cookies I have decided to teach a beginners class on how to decorate. I will provide 6 cookies and royal icing for decorating. Each month will have a different theme that I have preplanned. Instructor: Casey Marsh - Casey fell in love with baking years ago while baking annual Christmas cookies with her mother and grandmother.  She has always been a creative and artistic person (who also  LOVES to feed people) so it only made sense that she start a business doing just that! She is a fully licensed home baker. She completed the baking and pastry associates program at York County Community College, but the majority of her skills are self taught.

This 4 hour American Red Cross in person training will give you the skills to help save a life and it is the accepted certification for support workers and teachers and is an opportunity to achieve the skills of assisting someone in an emergency until first responders arrive. Learn the techniques of responding to various emergency situations with a combination of guided lectures, videos, and hands on practices.

Learn one of music’s deepest mysteries: how to play songs

without relying on music. A very practical presentation of

music theory that includes predicting chord progressions,

learning from recordings, and transposing-all expressed in

everyday language. This is an ideal follow-up to the “Instant

Piano” class and is open to anyone who has a basic

understanding of chords on any instrument. Expand your

musical horizons, and free yourself from sheet-music

dependence, and be the life of the party! Prior experience

with chords recommended. Fee includes the online book,

online follow-up lessons, a recording of the class and an

optional monthly question and answer session. Class is held

online using zoom.

The trip is on Friday December 5, 3:30-9:00p.m.  Travel back in time to Historic Strawberry bank while we take a candlelight tour of the period homes as well as costumed role players, explaining what the holidays were like back then and how they decorated their homes.  After the tour we will be going for a sumptuous dinner.  We will be leaving Wells at 3:30 and we will return to Wells approximately 9:00 p.m.  Tour is limited to 08    The trip includes entry to the Candlelight Stroll and dinner and is $89.00 per person.
