Colorful Greeting Cards

In this class, you will make three greeting cards using three different techniques to create stunning backgrounds for the stamps used. One technique is called “polished stone”. One is called “mother of pearl” and one is called “embossed resist” using inks and blending tools. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM you will be able to sit at your piano or keyboard at home and take this course with no pressure at all. And since this course includes an online book and online follow up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. An optional periodic online question and answer session is also included. A recording of the class is included as well. The course is partly lecture/demonstration and partly hands on instruction. WATERCOLOR S2 Intermediate

Learn and practice a variety of techniques and approaches specific to watercolor painting. Whether a beginner or experienced, enjoy a relaxing and supportive environment to paint from references, still life objects and observation. You will receive feedback and see what others are working on. Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper understanding of this medium. You may bring your own supplies, if you prefer to purchase your own supplies, please request a materials list at registration.

Adult Ballet

Basic Beginner Ballet Class. We will have a Ballet Dance completed by the end of the session. This experience is wonderful for the mind and body. Wear comfortable clothes with ballet shoes or socks.

She concentrates on how the body benefits from correct positioning while also allowing the body to do what comes “naturally. “She’s owned 4 dance studios from New York to Maine and knows what makes a student transform into a “happy” dancer.
Trip To The Portsmouth Navy Yard

This trip leaves Wells High school on May 2nd at 10 am we will have a guided tour of the Navy Yard along with the Heritage Museum that has a gallery focusing on shipping history from sail to steam ships and a history of World War 1 and World War 2. This will be a 90-minute tour with lunch to follow. We will be returning to Wells High School by 2 pm. The cost of the trip includes entry to the Museum and lunch. YOGA 2

This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based. Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat, block, strap and blanket to class.
